New Zealand freight and logistics company, MOVE Logistics Group Limited (NZX: MOV) announced today a change in organisational structure and changes in senior leadership roles. The change follows an ongoing review of the business and business performance. Under the new organisation structure, the Warehousing and Logistics Division and the Fuel Division will be combined to better align with the core capabilities involved in operating those businesses. These divisions will operate as business units within a new Contract Logistics Division. Following this organisation review, two changes to the executive leadership have been announced. The roles of Divisional CEO Logistics and Warehousing, and Divisional CEO Fuel will be combined. Warehousing and Logistics Divisional CEO Richard Mather and Fuel Division CEO Stephen Owles will be leaving the Company as a result of their positions being disestablished. Executive director Chris Dunphy said the changes were part of a continued programme to drive improved execution of the Company's strategy and to lift its operating and financial performance. Chris Dunphy thanked Richard Mather and Stephen Owles for their contributions to the Company. The Company is now proceeding to secure a new person to lead the new Contracts Logistics Division. MOVE also advises that given these changes and the ongoing review of the company's operations and structure that it has reassessed who are senior managers for the purposes of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 and NZX listing rule 3.20.1. Effective immediately the company will treat its Chief Executive Officer (when appointed) and Chief Financial Officer as senior managers. The persons holding these positions (including the current Executive Director) will disclose relevant interests and dealings in relevant interests in accordance with section 297 of the FMCA.
