UPDATE ON SKYCITY HAMILTON

MARKET RELEASE SkyCity Entertainment Group Limited (SKC.NZX/SKC.AX) 3 October 2021 Update on SkyCity Hamilton SkyCity Entertainment Group Limited (SKC.NZX/SKC.AX) (SkyCity) advises that it will close its Hamilton casino and entertainment facilities on 3 October 2021 following the announcement by the New Zealand Government on 3 October 2021 that the COVID-19 Alert Level for certain parts of the Waikato region, including the Hamilton CBD, will move to Alert Level 3 from 11.59pm on 3 October 2021 for a period of five days in light of two new COVID-19 cases in the community. The SkyCity Auckland property continues to remain closed whilst Auckland remains at COVID-19 Alert Level 3. The SkyCity Queenstown property continues to remain open at COVID-19 Alert Level 2 with appropriate health and safety measures in place. SkyCity's businesses outside of New Zealand, SkyCity Adelaide and SkyCity Online Casino, are unaffected by the latest restrictions in New Zealand. SkyCity Adelaide remains open with physical distancing and hygiene requirements already in place. SkyCity will provide further updates as new material information becomes available.
