September 2021 Monthly Traffic Update preview -92.2% Auckland Airport total passenger volumes decreased by 92.2% in September 2021 versus the prior year. International passengers (excl. transits) were down 44.4%, transit passengers were down 81.6% and domestic passengers were down by 95.8%. Key Points: o Auckland remained at Alert Level 4 until 21 September 2021, followed by a change to Alert Level 3 for the remainder of September 2021, limiting both international and domestic services. o Refer Appendix 1 for comparison with pre-COVID September 2018.
