APPOINTMENT OF SKYCITY CHAIR-ELECT

MARKET RELEASE SkyCity Entertainment Group Limited - (SKC.NZX/SKC.AX) 22 November 2021 Appointment of SkyCity Chair-elect Pursuant to NZX Listing Rule 3.20.1(c), SkyCity Entertainment Group Limited (SkyCity) advises that Julian Cook has been appointed as the Chair-elect of the SkyCity Board and will replace current SkyCity Board Chair Rob Campbell when he retires as a Director of the SkyCity Board. The SkyCity Board has unanimously agreed to appoint Mr Cook as Chair-elect effective from 22 November 2021 to enable an orderly transition and handover period before Mr Campbell retires from the SkyCity Board. Mr Cook will replace Mr Campbell as SkyCity Chair on 1 January 2022 at which time Mr Campbell will retire from the SkyCity Board to focus on other work commitments. "We have made significant progress over the past year to refresh the SkyCity Board and I am delighted that Julian has been selected by the SkyCity Board to lead SkyCity as the new Chair from 1 January 2022", says Mr Campbell. Mr Cook was appointed a Director of the SkyCity Board in June 2021 after obtaining all necessary regulatory approvals and is currently the Chair of the Board's People and Culture Committee and a member of each of the Audit and Risk Committee and Governance and Nominations Committee. Mr Cook was Chief Executive Officer of Summerset Group Holdings Limited from 2014 to March 2021 and, prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer, Summerset's Chief Financial Officer where he oversaw the company's transition to become a publicly listed company on the New Zealand and Australian stock exchanges. Prior to joining Summerset in 2010, Mr Cook was an Associate Director at Macquarie Group where he gained significant experience in the energy, industrial services, tourism and aged care sectors over a 12-year career. He is currently a director of WEL Networks Limited and Winton Property Limited and holds a Master of Finance from Victoria University and a Master of Science from the University of Waikato.
