General Capital Limited announces that its 2022 annual meeting of shareholders is to be held on Wednesday, 28 September 2022. Further details of the location, time, resolutions and voting processes for the annual meeting will be set out in the Notice of Meeting to be sent to shareholders in due course. For the purposes of NZX Listing Rule 2.3.2, General Capital also advises that the closing date for Director nominations is Wednesday, 10 August 2022. Nominations may only be made by a shareholder entitled to attend and vote at the annual meeting and must be received by General Capital by 5:00pm (NZT) on the closing date. The nominating shareholder should provide (at the time of nomination or as soon as possible thereafter and prior to closing date for nominations) sufficient information to enable the directors of the company to undertake the due diligence process to ascertain the candidate's character, experience, education, criminal record and bankruptcy history in accordance with clause 4.1 of the Company's Procedure for Nomination and Appointment of Directors.
