News Release STOCK EXCHANGE LISTINGS: NEW ZEALAND (FPH), AUSTRALIA (FPH) 2022 Annual Shareholders' Meeting Update Auckland, New Zealand, 12 August 2022 - Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited published a notice of meeting on 6 July 2022 in relation to its Annual Shareholders' Meeting to be held on Wednesday, 24 August 2022 at 2:00pm NZST. Today, the company advises that the meeting will be virtual-only due to concerns related to COVID-19 and potential risks to the health of meeting attendees. This possibility was signalled in the Notice of Meeting document. "We regret to inform our shareholders that we will again be holding a virtual-only meeting this year," said Scott St John, Board Chair. "We did not want our event to contribute to the potential spread of COVID-19 and flu when numbers have been stubbornly high through these winter months. An in-person option this year would also have been somewhat restrictive given the recommended mask and social distancing guidelines for indoor events in New Zealand. We feel this decision is in the best interest of our shareholders and appreciate their understanding. "We strongly prefer hybrid meetings, and we very much value the in-person interactions we have had in past events. We have every intention of returning to this format in the future," said Mr St John.
