EA’s Code amendments for large electricity contracts

Meridian notes the release of the Electricity Authority's (EA) urgent Code amendments to address the risk of inefficient price discrimination in large electricity contracts and the accompanying consultation paper. See the EA's paper here. Meridian' submission to the EA will aim to ensure the market continues to operate in the long-term interests of consumers.
