Contact closes its Green Bond offer and sets margin

Friday, 30 September 2022 Contact closes its Green Bond offer and sets margin Following the successful bookbuild process for its offer of 5.5-year fixed rate, unsecured, unsubordinated green bonds (Green Bonds), Contact Energy Limited (Contact) has confirmed that the offer has closed and $250 million of Green Bonds have been reserved for institutional investors and clients of those participants in the bookbuild process that have received firm allocations. This includes oversubscriptions of $50 million. There was no public pool for the offer. The issue margin for the Green Bonds has been set at 1.30% per annum. The interest rate will be announced later today along with the release of the final terms sheet.
