Resignation of Chief Executive

Media release 22 February 2023 Resignation of Chief Executive Jim Stabback has announced his resignation as Auckland Council's Chief Executive. Mr Stabback joined the council on 1 September 2020 and will remain in the role until 25 August 2023. Auckland Council's Governing Body will now undertake a recruitment process to appoint a new Chief Executive.
