Meridian Energy sets interest rate for its Green Bond offer

Meridian Energy Limited (Meridian) has today announced that it has set the Interest Rate for its $200 million offer of 5.5 year unsecured, unsubordinated, fixed rate green bonds (Green Bonds). The Interest Rate for the Green Bonds has been set at 5.91% per annum, being the sum of the Issue Margin of 1.05% per annum and the Base Rate. The Green Bonds will be issued on Monday, 20 March 2023 and will mature on Wednesday, 20 September 2028. The Green Bonds will be quoted on the NZX Debt Market under the ticker code MEL060 on Tuesday, 21 March 2023.
