Channel Infrastructure has today published an updated 2023 Governance Statement. Over the last year, Channel Infrastructure has made a number of changes to its Board and governance processes to align with its new business, operations and strategy. The updated 2023 Governance Statement reflects a revised Health, Safety, Environment and Operations (HSEO) board sub-committee. The HSEO Committee will comprise Paul Zealand (as Chair), Andrew Holmes and Lucy Nation, who each have specialist expertise in health, safety, environment and operational matters, as well as asset and fuel supply chain management. The committee will focus on providing support to management and recommendations to the Board on asset management planning, resilience and emergency response, in addition to continuing to provide oversight of health, safety, cyber and environmental risks. Board Chair James Miller said: "Our new Health, Safety, Environment and Operations board sub-committee structure allows our directors with specialist expertise in these areas to increase their time and focus on the continued improvement at Channel Infrastructure on asset management, resilience, emergency response and oversight of health, safety and environmental risks." The newly constituted HSEO Committee will meet at least four times each year, and more frequently as required.
