Board member confirms departure date

Mercury has confirmed that Dennis Barnes will leave the Board on 16 May 2023. In January 2023, Mr Barnes was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Snowy Hydro Limited, a Commonwealth Company and Government Business Enterprise in Australia. As a consequence, he announced his intention to step down from Mercury's Board. "On behalf of the Board I'd like to thank Dennis for his contribution, in particular his inputs into Mercury's generation development programme and on health, safety, and wellbeing matters.
