Contact closes its Green Bond offer and sets margin

Thursday, 30 March 2023 Contact closes its Green Bond offer and sets margin Following the successful bookbuild process for its offer of 6-year fixed rate, unsecured, unsubordinated green bonds (Green Bonds), Contact Energy Limited (Contact) has confirmed that the offer has closed and $300 million of Green Bonds have been reserved for clients of those participants in the bookbuild process that have received firm allocations. This includes oversubscriptions of $100 million. There was no public pool for the offer. The issue margin for the Green Bonds has been set at 1.35% per annum. The interest rate will be announced later today along with the release of the final terms sheet.
