Second shareholder class action

Second shareholder class action Further to the announcement on 3 April 2023, a second class action has been filed against Downer EDI Limited (Downer) in the Supreme Court of Victoria. The action has been commenced on behalf of persons who acquired an interest in Downer shares during the period 23 July 2019 to 24 February 2023. The statement of claim relates to a maintenance contract in its Australian Utilities business and its impact on Downer's financial performance and its earnings guidance on 17 August 2022 and 8 December 2022. It makes similar allegations and covers similar subject matter to the claim announced on 3 April 2023. Downer intends to defend the proceedings.
