Meridian and Contact agree replacement CFD deal

Meridian Energy Limited (“Meridian”) and Contact Energy Limited (“Contact”) have entered into a new contract for difference (“CFD”) for 192 GWh with a term up to and including 31 October 2024. It replaces the swaption and existing CFD entered into by the parties on 15 August 2022. Meridian is the fixed price payer.
