Polly Pope appointed to NZ Markets Disciplinary Tribunal 2 March 2026 - NZ RegCo is pleased to announce the appointment of Polly Pope to the NZ Markets Disciplinary Tribunal. NZ RegCo’s Chief Executive, Joost van Amelsfort, welcomed Ms. Pope’s appointment. Ms. Pope is a highly regarded New Zealand barrister with extensive expertise in commercial litigation, insolvency, construction, and financial regulatory enforcement. She is former partner and Chair of the Partnership at Russell McVeagh, and now practises from Bankside Chambers in Auckland and Singapore, acting for listed companies, banks, public entities, and overseas firms on complex disputes. In addition to her work as counsel, Ms. Pope sits as an arbitrator and is a Fellow of both the Arbitrators’ and Mediators’ Institute of New Zealand and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. NZ RegCo also announces that Rachel Dunne will retire from the Tribunal at the end of March. NZ RegCo acknowledges the contributions made by Ms. Dunne to the Tribunal since her appointment in 2017.
