Air New Zealand updates on Directors

Air New Zealand has today made the following announcements in relation to directors: (a) Existing directors Dean Bracewell and Laurissa Cooney will be seeking re-election at the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting on 24 September 2026 (ASM); (b) Existing director Larry De Shon (who is US based) has been on the Board since 2020 and has advised he will retire at the ASM; and (c) Former airline executives Campbell Wilson and Robert McDonald have been appointed by the Board with effect from, and subject to their re-election by vote at, the ASM. Air New Zealand Chair, Dame Therese Walsh, thanked Larry De Shon for his significant contribution to the airline and welcomes the prospective appointments of Campbell Wilson and Robert McDonald as Directors who will replace Larry’s airline expertise following his retirement and further strengthen the Board’s overall aviation industry experience. Campbell has over three decades in aviation and was previously the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Air India. He held multiple senior executive roles at Singapore Airlines including Senior VP Sales and Marketing and was also the founding CEO of its’ low-cost carrier Scoot. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the International Air Transport Association and a Board Executive Committee member of both the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines and of the Star Alliance. Rob was formerly the Chief Financial Officer of Air New Zealand and is currently the Chair of Vero Insurance New Zealand, Chair of Contact Energy Limited (which he will retire from on 16 September 2026), a director of FleetPartners Group Limited and Pro-Chancellor of the University of Auckland.
