19 August 2026 Cooks Coffee Company Limited TRADING UPDATE LONG TERM SHAREHOLDER VALUE STRENGTHED THROUGH COMMITMENT TO ESG Cooks Coffee (NZX:CCC ), the international coffee focused café chain, is pleased to provide an overview of the Esquire’s brand ESG (Environmental Social and Governance) commitment and a trading update on the systemwide performance of its Esquires (The Organic Coffee Company) branded franchised stores in the UK and Ireland for the three months ended 30 June 2026. ESG COMMITMENT “We believe long-term shareholder value is strengthened through sustainable business practices, and our franchisees are committed to this philosophy and fulfilling our customers’ demands in a fast-moving world of changing tastes.” said Cooks Coffee Company executive Chairman Keith Jackson. “As we continue to expand across the UK and Ireland, our customers value our focus on incorporating ESG in our sourcing, operational efficiency, sustainable packaging, community engagement and employment initiatives.” ESG IN ACTION Recently Esquires in Caerphilly Wales won the “Best Ethical Café Award” in the Welsh Enterprise Awards for the third year, highlighting the dedication of Cooks Coffee Company and their Esquires franchisees to embedding ESG in every aspect of their businesses. This Award follows the recognition of the team in Ireland for “Organic Coffee Shop Enterprise of the Year” at the Irish Enterprise Awards also for the third consecutive year. Another example of ESG in action is Esquires in Longford Ireland where the owners have been committed to Certified Organic Farm status which has been achieved after three years of investment and hard work also following a devastating fire in 2022 where they had to have the resilience to rebuild while operating out of makeshift premises.
