Shareholder Register Release

Briscoe Group Limited has received a request from Worthington Clark Pty Limited, an Australian asset recovery business, for access to information from the Company’s shareholder register. We understand that Worthington Clark has made similar requests to a number of other NZX-listed companies. The request was made pursuant to the statutory shareholder register access provisions of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013. Briscoe Group sought guidance from the Financial Markets Authority regarding the request. The FMA has advised that it does not consider there are grounds to authorise non-compliance and does not consider there is a sufficient basis to withhold the requested information. Accordingly, Briscoe Group intends to comply with its statutory obligations and provide the requested shareholder register information. Prior to release, Briscoe Group has asked Worthington Clark to confirm that the information will be used solely for the purpose described in its request and that it will comply with its obligations regarding the use and protection of register information under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 and the Companies Act 1993. Subject to receiving that confirmation, the requested shareholder register information will be provided to Worthington Clark. Thursday 20 August 2026.
