Annual Report of Quayside Holdings Limited
Quayside Holdings Limited has released its Annual Report for the financial year ended 30 June 2026. The Annual Report highlights continued growth in Quayside's intergenerational investment fund, strong portfolio performance, and a record distribution to the Bay of Plenty Regional Council (BOPRC), helping reduce pressure on rates across the region. Key highlights include: Dividend Distribution: $54.2 million paid to BOPRC, including a special dividend of $6.2 million. The planned $48 million dividend assumed in BOPRC’s rates-setting process reduced the average general rates bill by approximately $405 per rating unit. Fund Growth: The Quayside portfolio saw record profit, with total assets growing by 25% to $3.9 billion and net assets valued at $3.5 billion, equivalent to approximately $25,699 per Bay of Plenty ratepayer. Group Profit: Consolidated net profit after tax increased to $198.4 million, up from $172.1 million in FY25. Investment Portfolio Performance: The diversified Investment Portfolio delivered a 14.3% one-year return and grew to $485 million. Strong returns were driven by global equities, domestic equities and real assets. Port of Tauranga Shareholding: Quayside's 54.14% shareholding delivered a Total Shareholder Return of 32.85%, generating approximately $65 million of dividend income during the year. Rangiuru Business Park: The Bay of Plenty-located industrial development continued to progress, with infrastructure delivery advancing, approximately 9.5 hectares sold, and the first vertical developments commencing construction. The results reflect Quayside's continued focus on protecting and growing the Bay of Plenty's intergenerational investment fund, while delivering enduring benefits to the region.
