The purchased shares will be held in treasury. Following this purchase, the Company's issued ordinary share capital remains 1,315,102,830 ordinary shares of 2.5p each, of which 411,120,821 are held in Treasury. Treasury shares do not carry voting rights. Holders of the Company’s ordinary shares are entitled to one vote for every share held. As Treasury shares have no voting rights, the total number of voting rights is 903,982,009. Shareholders should use this figure for notifications in keeping with the provisions of DTR 5.
