New Director for Synlait

The Board of Synlait Milk Limited (Synlait) announces the resignation of Tao Zhang and the appointment of Ms Xu Yanqun (Yvonne) as a non-independent director. Tao joined the Board in 2024 and has played a valuable role in helping progress Synlait’s recovery. Yvonne currently serves as Deputy Finance Director of Bright Dairy and has over 28 years of finance leadership across the entire dairy value chain. Synlait Chair George Adams commented: “We would like to thank Tao for his contribution over the past two years and we look forward to welcoming Yvonne whose expertise in both listed-company governance and hands-on operational finance will be invaluable.” Mr Zhang's resignation and Ms Yanqun's appointment will be effective immediately.
