Intention to Appoint New Director

MARKET RELEASE SkyCity Entertainment Group Limited (SKC.NZX/SKC.ASX) 5 November 2026 Intention to Appoint New Director SkyCity Entertainment Group Limited (SkyCity) is pleased to advise that it intends to appoint Lauren Quaintance as a non-executive director to the SkyCity Board. SkyCity Chair, Julian Cook, commented that “Lauren has extensive expertise in media, digital and data, which will be key for SkyCity as we execute on our strategic goals, including our entry into the online gambling market. We are delighted that she has agreed to join the SkyCity Board”. This appointment remains subject to approval by regulatory authorities in each of the gaming jurisdictions in which SkyCity operates, a process which normally takes some months to conclude. Pending receipt of those regulatory authorities, she will be available to assist the SkyCity Board in an advisory capacity. Lauren Quaintance Lauren Quaintance is a professional Director having had a successful executive career in media and marketing and as an entrepreneur. Lauren is a current Non-Executive Director of Vista Group International Limited (VGL), Turners Automotive Group (TGA), Autosure Insurance and J.Ballantyne and Co. – she is also the Chair of ChristchurchNZ and ChristchurchNZ Holdings. In an executive capacity, Lauren has held positions as Chief Media & Data Officer for Sky Television (SKT) and as Co-founder and Managing Director of Storyation, an award-winning digital content marketing agency, sold to ASX-listed NewsCorp Australia in 2019. Lauren was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the B&T Women in Media Awards in Australia in 2018. Lauren Quaintance is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors and holds a Masters of Science from Columbia University in New York, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Journalism from the University of Canterbury, a Reuter Foundation Fellowship from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Arts from Victoria University of Wellington.
