5 November 2026 Contact to redeem CEN060 Capital Bonds As previously indicated to the market in announcements relating to the new capital bond offer that closed today, Contact Energy Limited (Contact) confirms that it is exercising its right to fully redeem its NZ$225 million green capital bonds quoted on the NZX Debt Market under the ticker code CEN060 (CEN060 Bonds). The redemption will occur on 19 November 2026 being the first reset date under the trust documents for the CEN060 Bonds. On redemption, holders of the CEN060 Bonds will be entitled to receive, in respect of each CEN060 Bond held, the sum of: (a) the principal amount of NZ$1.00; (b) any unpaid interest on that CEN060 Bond; and (c) any interest payment scheduled to be paid on the redemption date. Contact will notify all holders of the CEN060 Bonds of this decision (the template notice of redemption is attached to this announcement).
