Fast-Track Panel Draft Decision - Approve Barrytown Project

Tāiko Critical Minerals Limited has today received conditional approval of its fast-track application for the Barrytown Critical Minerals Project. The fast-track expert panel issued a draft decision proposing to grant all approvals sought by Taiko, subject to final conditions of consent. Invited parties will be given the opportunity to comment of the draft conditions of consent, and the Company the opportunity to reply, before a final decision due on 8 December 2026. Key Points • The application covers the Canoe Creek, Barrytown Farms and Cargill South blocks, which extend the already-consented Coates South block and would enable a project life of more than 20 years. • Together, the four blocks contain a JORC Code Mineral Resource of 35Mt at 21% Total Heavy Mineral (THM), of which 34.1Mt is in the Measured and Indicated categories.
