Election of Chair

The Board of The Colonial Motor Company Limited (Company) confirms that, following the retirement of Ash Waugh as a Director and Chair of the Company at the conclusion of the annual meeting held today (6 November 2026), John Journee has been elected as Chair. John has been an Independent Director of the Company since December 2018 and he has chaired the Audit & Financial Risk Committee for the last five years. The Board wishes to recognise Ash’s significant contribution to the governance of the Company and the qualities of professionalism, industry knowledge and personal competence he has brought to the Board since he joined it in 2015 and as Chair from November 2021.
